Les Cigales was created in 2005 after a year of preparation. During a trip visiting our relatives, we got in touch with the people who now supply us with their beautifull products. It took us a few months to chose which potters and fabric makers we would work with. Finally, we organized our first shipment in August 2005 and opened our shop in South Melbourne two months later.
We feel a profound love for France and particularly the region of Provence and go there as often as possible to enjoy the local “savoir vivre”, rich culture and sunny weather. With Les Cigales, we want to share that love with Australia bringing here the best of what is made there.
